Danish guitarist, Rasmus Birk, seriously rocks out our TOD 1 in this live clip captured at the music conservatory in Aalborg, Denmark.
He pairs it with a classic Tube Screamer and controls the gain entirely by riding the volume knob on his Fender Strat. Works out beautifully, and he really demonstrates how you can get anything from a smooth ‘at the verge og breaking up’ tone to full on overdrive, as the solo develops.
Rasmus is a former student at the conservatory and currently teaches guitar and music theory there as well. Well, we guess it’s always great to know the theory behind, but most important of all being able to apply it to your playing and execute it musically and with passion!
